Editorial Policy
Focus and Goals
The Cheerful Caregiver strives to provide support, inspiration, and practical tips to caregivers, not the people they care for. Family caregivers are a largely underserved and under-supported group. We focus on helping caregivers take care of themselves while they take care of loved ones.
Our primary focus lies on those who care for their elderly parents, but we welcome all family caregivers regardless of whom they care for.

Financial Disclosures
I sometimes review products on this website. You can be sure I have no financial interest or stake in any company or product I review, except that I may be a member of the product or company’s affiliate program. This relationship does not influence my review either positively or negatively.
In the event I should review a product or service with which I am personally affiliated, financially, you can be sure I’ll disclose that fact within the post.
Paid advertisements run in the sidebars of The Cheerful Caregiver and are clearly marked as such. For affiliate program advertisements, I have complete control over which ads are displayed, and I try to choose advertising partners that provide relevant products or services to readers. For general advertising programs, such as Google Ads, I have no control over which ads are displayed. Whenever you click on an advertising banner, I make a little money. Thus, I appreciate your support by clicking on the advertisements.
In addition to the banner ads, which are clearly identifiable some text links within the editorial content may also be affiliate links; I do not necessarily identify these as such, in order to avoid disrupting the flow of the post.
Bottom line? You may rest assured that my editorial content is never influenced by my sponsors. You have my word on that.
