As a family caregiver, you’re no doubt strapped for time when it comes to meal preparation. And then there’s the issue of trying to get a meal that’s actually healthy on the table instead of fast food or something too high in fat or sodium for your loved one’s diet.
That’s why I created Nourish the Caregiver. Every Tuesday and Thursday, you’ll receive an original recipe that’s healthful and (usually) fast and easy to get on the table. This week, I’m sharing two great recipes: Herbed Pork Medallions with Blackberry Mustard Sauce and Panko Chicken with Lemon Tarragon Sauce. Either of these main dishes can be served with a family-pleasing side dish of your choice, like a tossed salad, hot vegetable, or potatoes.
As Nourish the Caregiver develops, we’ll include foodie talk (gadgets, cool ingredients) and more. Won’t you join us? You can also find us on Facebook.
My promise to you includes easy to prepare recipes with no weird ingredients or herbs you’ll only use once.
If you love cooking, treat yourself to a couple of new recipes each week — and please feel free to give feedback on the recipes and share your own!
